New Capital Equipment
Fluke Metal Products installs new Citizen L20 Swiss Turn Machine and another new Kitimura 2Xif 4-Axis Spark Changer to keep up with continued demand for complex machined parts to support the Medical Orthopedic and Implant, Electro Mechanical and Aerospace markets. This Citizen L20 installed increases our Swiss Turn Department to 5 machines and is a full 7-Axis, dual spindle machine with high pressure coolant. Our new Vertical Mill is another 20,000 RPM, 40 Taper machine bringing us to a total of 6 new Kitimura’s in the past two years. The addition of these two machines increases our capacity along with supporting our continued effort to reduce costs to our customers.
Fluke Metal Products Completes ISO Certification
We are proud to announce Fluke Metal Products is now ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 Registered. Our certification compliments our continued focus on quality throughout our organization. Fluke Metal Products Expands Swiss Turn Department
Our facility has expanded into a our new Swiss Turn Building, which will be the home to 7 Swiss style machines. The new area has been designed for each workstation to have tooling, inspection equipment and 20X microscopes available for our highly skilled machinists. We also installed our first Citizen L20 Swiss Turn Machine. This full 7-Axis, 20mm machine broadens our capabilities with through spindle capacity of .8125 Ø. With 2000 PSI High Pressure Coolant and up to 14 live cross and face tools, the Citizen L20 is a great addition to our existing 16mm and 11mm Swiss Machines.
